Possible human remains found in wooden area of the Bronx

THE BRONX (WABC) -- Possible human remains were found in the Bronx on Friday.

The discovery was made in a wooded area around Van Cortlandt Park and the Major Deegan Expressway.

Crime scene investigators were called to the scene.

Sources are only describing what was found as 'skeletal remains.'

A Medical Examiner will try to determine the identity and cause of death.
