3 injured including firefighter after several boats go up in flames at marina in the Rockaways

THE ROCKAWAYS, Queens (WABC) -- Three people including a firefighter are injured after four boats caught fire at a marina in the Rockaways.

The boats went up in flames while docked at Marina 59 on Beach 59th Street just before 2 a.m.

Two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A firefighter was taken to St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Queens but his condition is unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
