13-year-old, 18-year-old injured in Queens double shooting; no arrests

QUEENS, New York (WABC) -- Two teenagers were hospitalized after a shooting in Queens Friday night, according to police.

Officers responded to 108th Street and 39th Avenue around 8:28 p.m. for reports of two people shot.

Police say a 13-year-old boy was shot in the arm and an 18-year-old man was shot in the ankle.

Both victims were taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

Police have not released any information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or what may have led up to it.

There is no suspect description at this time.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
