

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- One person died in a fire at a Crown Heights apartment on Friday evening, officials said.
FDNY officials told Eyewitness News they believe a lithium-ion battery started the fire.
Emergency services responded to a report of an explosion at an apartment at the NYCHA Albany Houses around 7 p.m.
Officials said the apartment was filled with smoke and a person was found inside.
They were transported to the hospital and pronounced dead, fire officials said.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
