Seaplane carrying 10 people makes hard landing in East River

MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A seaplane made a hard landing Sunday afternoon in the East River.

It happened near the NY Skyport at East 23rd Street and FDR Drive around 12:01 p.m.

The FDNY says the plane was carrying 10 civilians. It says the plane is "upright in the water and being towed back to dock."

No injuries have been reported.
