Skeletal remains found in garbage bag along Jackie Robinson Parkway in Brooklyn
CYPRESS HILLS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn are investigating the discovery of possible human remains.
A Department of Transportation worker found skeletal remains in a black garbage bag.
The gruesome discovery was made just off the Jackie Robinson Parkway, near Exit 1 northbound in Cypress Hills.
The medical examiner will determine if they are in fact human.
NewsCopter 7 was over the scene on Wednesday afternoon.
The location is near several cemeteries along the parkway.
