Skimming device found on Columbus Circle MetroCard machine

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The MTA is alerting subway riders in Manhattan to another skimming scam.

A passenger found a scanning device and a camera on a MetroCard machine at the Columbus Circle stop.

Police are advising anyone who uses the station to check their bank accounts for unauthorized activity.

Technicians are checking outer MetroCard vending machines across the system.
