Tiempo: NYC's Colombian community hosts relief drives in aftermath of earthquakes

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- On this episode of "Tiempo," we'll welcome back Newark Schools Superintendent Roger Leon-the first Latino to lead the district in New Jersey's largest city.
He will enlighten us on the efforts, programs, and directives he launched to improve a school district with an ever-growing Latino population.
We'll also discuss the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck western Colombia earlier this month, which killed hundreds and injured thousands in the Chocó region.
In response, New York City's large Colombian community launched disaster relief drives and community vigils.
Daniela Maria Fandiño Santos and Paloma Camelo Velásquez from Caring for Colombia join us to discuss.
