SOUTHAMPTON (WABC) -- The village of Southampton is banning all short-term rentals.
Southampton is known for huge homes, expensive shops, restaurants, and celebrities.
The Board of Trustees approved a measure setting a two-week minimum for all home rentals.
Officials say they've been getting noise complaints from residents who hope the change will keep out rowdy visitors.
According to Mayor Bill Manger, it can be split into two one-week stays within a year.
