Twins, 9, left home alone for months

A pair of 9-year-old twins were left in their New Hampshire home, all alone for months.

The children say they only had Ramen noodles to eat and no working phone.

Their parents had asked their uncle, Giobari Atura to look after them while the couple went to Africa.

The children told investigators they would wake up, ride the bus to school and then go back to the apartment.

Every couple of days the uncle would check on them.

Atura is now facing criminal charges.

Authorities say the parents won't face charges because they truly believed the uncle would care for them.
