Upper West Side Symphony Space to begin renovations of performing arts center by end of year

UPPER WEST SIDE (WABC) -- The Kennedy Center in Washington is not the only performance space about to undergo a major renovation.
Symphony Space on the Upper West Side announced on Monday that it will close for a refresh before the end of the year.
The project is being budgeted at $45 million and will take about two years.
Just this past Saturday, Eyewitness News was at Symphony Space as kids from area schools took park in a step competition.
