Watch as this volcano erupts before your eyes

A travel vlogger captured stunning footage of a volcano erupting in Indonesia.

Ryan Purvis caught the Aug. 14 eruption on video, showing smoke pluming from the volcano into the air. Mount Semeru, located on East Java, stands at 12,057 feet tall and has been in a near constant state of eruption since 1967, according to Storyful.
