Fire Island home completely destroyed in fire

OCEAN BEACH, New York (WABC) -- A fire on Fire Island completely destroyed a waterfront home.

Flames tore through the house on Bay Walk in Ocean Beach around 4 p.m. Friday.

The homes on both sides of the home that was destroyed suffered some damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
