NYPD identifies 22-year-old woman killed in West Village hit-and-run as search continues for driver
WEST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- New York City police officers on Monday identified the victim of a hit-and-run in the West Village over the weekend.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Destiny Murrell of Brooklyn.
Police say a gray SUV struck her as she crossed 6th Avenue near Washington Place shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.
She was in a crosswalk at the time.
Police are currently looking for the driver and no arrests have been made.
