Man shot in neck on 7th Ave. & 14th St. subway platform

GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man was shot in the neck on a subway platform in Manhattan Sunday.

The shooting occurred at 5:54 p.m. on a train platform inside the subway station at 7th Avenue and 14th Street.

Police said the victim walked himself to the nearby Lenox Hill HealthPlex.

His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police are investigating, but the subway station has since reopened.
