Tim Tebow visits NYPD precinct
Lauren Glassberg reports on Tim Tebow's visit to the Queens precinct where slain NYPD officer Brian Moore worked.

MIDDLE VILLAGE, Queens (WABC) -- Tim Tebow took a break from the sports world and paid a visit to an NYPD precinct.

It wasn't just any precinct. It was the station in Queens where Officer Brian Moore worked before he was killed last year.

Tebow is out of football and is now trying his hand at baseball with the Mets.

Instead of wearing a uniform, Tuesday he met with men and women in uniform.

T-shirts at the precinct that honor the fallen hero Officer Moore were exchanged for a Mets jersey which will hang there.

Tebow also signed autographs as everyone enjoyed lunch, provided by the Mets.

If Tebow has his druthers, he'll be playing ball not far from the precinct one day.
