Search for UPS truck in hit-and-run of Nassau County woman
Nassau County police are looking into a serious hit-and-run accident involving a UPS truck.

FRANKLIN SQUARE, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island are looking into a serious hit-and-run accident involving a UPS truck.

Investigators say a 34-year-old woman was struck by the truck on Doris Avenue in Franklin Square Monday around 5:05 p.m.

The truck just kept on going.

The woman was hospitalized in serious but stable condition with severe trauma injuries.

UPS issued the following statement:

"We are cooperating with local law enforcement on their investigation, but at this time there is no evidence that UPS was involved in this incident. At UPS, we hold ourselves to a high standard. The safety of our employees and general public are our highest priority."
