Neighborhood Eats visits Hello Halloumi Bakery in Manhattan's West Village
WEST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- This week's Neighborhood Eats visits Hello Halloumi Bakery in Manhattan.
The West Village bakery is a love letter to the owner's home country of Cyprus.
They put the focus on one ingredient: halloumi.
From sweet to savory, almost every bite has a bit of it and it.
The owner of Hello Halloumi is Constantino.
"We are the world's first halloumi bakery," Constantino said. "We're bringing traditional taste and recipes from Cyprus to New Yorkers. We're in the heart of the West Village, and we've just been open for six or seven months now. We're pretty new. So, please come join us and try us out."
