Authorities respond to possible plane crash on road
LINCOLN PARK, NJ Authorities said a small plane crashed in northern New Jersey slightly before noon Sunday near the Lincoln Park Airport.

Police dispatcher William Morere said the plane was located on Jacksonville Rd.

Authorities say the pilot tried to land the plane at Morris County airport when the he lost control.

The plane slammed into a fence, crashed through a guardrail, then flipped over before coming to rest on a road at the end of the runway.

The pilot, 59-year-old Robert Daniels, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

His passenger, 36-year-old Thomas Gerecs, refused medical attention.
