Her 60-year-old husband, Patrick Scully, was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in critical condition. He had stab wounds to his chest and arms.
Neighbors say the couple fought frequently and the wife abused her husband. Several neighbors say they watched her hit him with a baseball bat during a recent fight.
There have been no arrests in the killing.
