Firefighters revive lifeless baby

BROOKLYN Firefighters assigned to Engine 321 encountered a hysterical mother holding her lifeless child outside her house on Burnett Street just after 9 a.m.

The firefighters, along with the EMTs who subsequently arrived, administered CPR as they rushed to the hospital -- all as the infant's mother prayed in the ambulance.

As the ambulance arrived at Coney Island Hospital, the child choked back to life and began crying.

The infant was stabilized at the hospital, and her mother wants to thank firefighters.
