The victim was found shot in the back just before 11 p.m. at Roosevelt Avenue and 133rd Street in Flushing.
He was identified as 46-year-old Alejandro Ramos, who was rushed to New York Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
A second victim, 28, was also taken to the hospital.
That man had been shot in the buttocks. He is listed in stable condition.
Police haven't made any arrests yet.
