The relationship between a father and step-father can be tricky, but when one woman got married, her blended family wouldn't let anything stand in the way of her big day.

When Brittany Peck of LaGrange, Ohio, was walking down the aisle, escorted by father Todd Bachman, her dad decided to invite Peck's stepfather to join in. Deila Blackburn, the photographer who captured the sweet interaction at the Sept. 26 wedding, described how it happened:

"He stopped the procession while people were confused at his actions and he walked up to his daughter's stepfather. Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony...including me!"

Blackburn's photos received a staggering 1 million likes in less than two days.

"When you make it about your kids and not your ego," Blackburn said, "life can be so beautiful even for a moment."

The bride commented that she was grateful the photographer was able to capture the moment.

"Seriously this needs to be shared!! Amazing work Delia D. Blackburn I'm so lucky to have this," Peck wrote.

While the moment was emotional for those at the wedding, the photo's impact has stretched far beyond friends and family.

"Goodness I am crying like a baby I dont know you but thank you for sharing this," wrote one commenter. "You are so blessed to have 2 amazing men like this in your life."

"What a great guy!" wrote another. "It shows how much he appreciates this other man for loving his daughter as if she was his own."
