QUEENS (WABC) -- A man allegedly struck and killed another man with a baseball bat in a road rage attack on the Belt Parkway in Queens early Sunday, sources say.

Police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress on the eastbound Belt Parkway near Exit 21B just after 1 a.m.

They found 47-year-old Crisanie Dockery unconscious and unresponsive with severe head trauma and a 39-year-old man with minor injuries to one arm.

Dockery was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Sources say the two were assaulted with a baseball bat during a dispute following an accident.

Police are looking for a blue vehicle that fled the scene.
