Beyoncé makes $2 million gift to Studio Museum in Harlem on her birthday

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- Beyoncé just celebrated her 45th birthday, and spent part of the day sharing her love - and money in Harlem.

Beyoncé made a $2 million gift to Studio Museum in Harlem.

The museum considers itself a hive of activity, celebrating Black culture and the artists who express it.

Beyoncé is an avid art collector and says she loves how the museum introduces her to young up-and-coming Black artists.
