6 injured, 2 critically after car flips over in Queens multi-vehicle crash

WHITESTONE, Queens (WABC) -- Six people were injured, two critically in a multi-car crash in Queens.

It happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on the Cross Island Parkway between exits 34 and 35, not far where the road meets Francis Lewis Boulevard.

All lanes on the northbound side of the Cross Island Parkway are closed

One vehicle rolled onto its roof. Another was badly damaged.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
