Police looking for man who punched woman on Brooklyn subway train

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police have released a photo of the man wanted for punching a woman in a Brooklyn Heights subway station.

The attack happened on Nov. 23rd. According to the NYPD, the 29-year-old victim was on board the northbound "A" train approaching the Jay Street station, when the suspect approached her unprovoked and punched her in the head with a closed fist.

The suspect fled to parts unknown. The victim sustained pain and swelling to her head but refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as being in his 50's, approximately 5'11" tall, 230lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, short close cut hair and last seen wearing a brown jacket, a black shirt underneath a gray hoody sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
