Raw video: Officers salute fallen officer
NYPD officers, as well as members of FDNY, salute the ambulance carrying the body of Officer Randolph Holder.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Fellow NYPD officers and members of the FDNY gave an honorable and touching salute to the New York City police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty.

As the body of 33-year-old Officer Randolph Holder was transported from a hospital in East Harlem to the medical examiner's office, officers lined the pathway the ambulance would take leaving the hospital. As the ambulance drove by, the officers saluted to show tribute to their fallen member. The ambulance was also escorted by the NYPD.

Then, as the ambulance was arriving at the medical examiner's office, the FDNY had members stationed outside and a ladder with a flag from Hook and Ladder Co. 2 over the path the ambulance would take. Emergency responders there also saluted Holder as the ambulance went by.
