Meteorologist Dani Beckstrom has more on the seven-day AccuWeather forecast.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The weekend starts sunny and cool, as clouds increase throughout the day along with chances for spotty showers. Expect highs to be in the low 60s.

A warming trend begins on Sunday, which will see mostly clouds and sun with highs in the mid 70s.

That sets the stage for a real taste of summer to kick off the new work week on Monday, as highs soar into the mid 80s.
