New Yorkers take advantage of unseasonably warm December weather

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Oh, the weather outside is...delightful! Winter's wrath is nowhere in sight as the Tri-State area enjoys record-setting temperatures.

On Sunday, the temperature in Central Park climbed to 66 degrees, surpassing the previous record of 64 that was set in 1923.

Coney Island was looking more like spring, rather than December:

Ice skaters headed to Bryant Park, where there was no need for layers on the ice skating rink:
