Firefighter hurt amid construction site fire in Glendale, Queens

GLENDALE, Queens (WABC) -- A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a second-alarm fire in a building under construction in the Glendale section of Queens early Thursday morning, according to the FDNY.

Citizen App footage shows flames shooting from the building at 71-57 70th Street just before 1:30 a.m.

No word yet on what caused the blaze.

FDNY is investigating.
