EAST WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed while sitting in his car in Brooklyn.
According to officials, a male victim was shot twice in the head Tuesday afternoon while sitting in a parked car on Bushwick Avenue.

Despite being shot, police say the victim attempted to step out of the car, stumbled and collapsed.
He was taken to Woodhull Hospital in critical condition.
Officials say the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Residents says this isn't a block that would normally be the scene of a deadly shooting in the middle of the afternoon.
"Here was surprising because I come up and down this block every day," neighbor Brandon Gonzalez said. "I've never seen that happen on this block. Car accidents, ambulances because of the retirement home here, but never like this."
As police look for any suspects or motive, they say they have identified the victim but are still notifying his family.
