Woman found shot inside Brownsville apartment

BROWNSVILLE (WABC) -- Police are searching for the gunman who shot a woman in Brooklyn.

Police say the woman was found inside an apartment building on Legion Street in Brownsville at about 4 p.m. Saturday.

The woman had a bullet wound in the head, and paramedics rushed her to the hospital.

Authorities have not released her condition or identity.
