BUSHWICK (WABC) -- A police-involved shooting in Brooklyn Wednesday night has left a suspect wounded.
Investigators say the suspect was shot during a confrontation with officers inside an apartment in Bushwick at 8:30 p.m.
Officers were responding to a domestic dispute call on Hancock Street. The 911 caller said a woman was being assaulted.
They say a man lunged at them with a knife.
An officer fired one shot at the man, hitting him in the torso.
The suspect was taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The two officers were taken to the hospital for tinnitus.
