New photos of suspects in mugging of young woman in Central Park

UPPER WEST SIDE (WABC) -- Detectives are hoping newly released photos of two suspects in a mugging in Central Park will help them catch the pair.

The mugging happened at about 11:50 p.m. at West 110th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Police say the 24-year-old female victim was placed in a choke hold by the male suspect who threw her to the ground.

The female suspect then took the victim's handbag, and both suspects fled the scene.
