NEW YORK (WABC) -- Chelsea Clinton will be on the next cover of ELLE Magazine, just as her mother, Hillary, is expected to kick off her presidential campaign.

Clinton talks to ELLE about motherhood, women's rights, and the importance of having a woman president.

"There is something innately regal about Chelsea, a kind of grace that doesn't seem practiced, or trotted out just for public consumption," ELLE's Editor-in-Chief, Robbie Myers, writes in the issue.

Clinton discusses the 20th anniversary of the United Nations' World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995 where the first lady made her famous declaration "human rights are women's rights and women's rights are human rights."

Clinton said she wanted to use the anniversary to provide prospective on the status of women's rights and released the No Ceilings Full Participation Report she dreamed up with her mother.

Clinton tells ELLE that having a woman president is important for the country. "One of our core values in this country is that we are the land of equal opportunity," Clinton said. "When equal hasn't yet included gender, there is a fundamental challenge there that, I believe, having our first woman president, whenever that is, will help resolve."

The May issue of ELLE will be available digitally in select cities on April 14 and will be on newsstands nationwide on April 21.
