Man, woman stabbed multiple times in Bronx bodega

BRONX, NY (WABC) -- Police are investigating a double stabbing in the Bronx.

Authorities say a man in his 40s and woman in her 30s were stabbed multiple times inside a bodega at 2741 White Plains Road in the Allerton section just after noon Monday.

Police report that the victims were stabbed by a black male for unknown reasons.

The male victim was unconscious upon police arrival, and he is now listed in critical but stable condition at Jacobi Hospital. The female victim is stable and not cooperating with detectives.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
