CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- A fatal crash in Brooklyn early Tuesday left a woman dead and damaged up to 10 other cars parked in the area.

The Honda Civic initially crashed into a vehicle parked on St. Johns Place in Crown Heights just before 4 a.m.

The force of the collision started a chain reaction that damaged the other vehicles.

A 20-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Civic was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

The man who was driving was taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
