Delta flight from LaGuardia makes emergency landing

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Delta flight from LaGuardia Airport was forced to make an emergency landing in Georgia on Friday.

The flight was heading for Atlanta, but it couldn't land because of storms in the area.

The plane started to run out of fuel, so it landed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah.

The 155 passengers stayed on the plane and were waiting for storms to clear so it could take off again.
