Off-duty FDNY EMT killed in motorcycle crash
It happened as he tried to swerve around another vehicle in Queens.

HILLCREST, Queens (WABC) -- An off-duty FDNY EMT was killed in a motorcycle crash in Queens.

Authorities say 25-year-old Eric Maleh was riding the motorcycle on Utopia Parkway in Hillcrest Sunday night when he swerved around a car and lost control, slamming into a house.

The other vehicle was making a U-turn at the time of the crash.

Maleh was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is examining the crash.
