Holiday favorite 'Elf' hits the stage as a musical

NEW YORK (WABC) -- One of the most treasured holiday hits of the past decade is now a musical.

"Elf" is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan who ends up in the North Pole, then to New York in search of his family.

The holiday favorite is back this year as an on-stage production, "Elf the Musical".
