A 5-year-old boy from the United Kingdom needs a new heart and is using his own version of the Ice Bucket Challenge to get the word out.

Albert Tansey has a rare heart condition where he was born with an undeveloped left ventricle, according to the UK publication the Express. He is now in need of a heart transplant.

Deviating from the standard, nominate-donate-bucket format, Albert uses his own illness to call attention to the need for organ donors and encourage people to join the donor registry.

Because of his condition, it's not safe for Albert to be doused with freezing cold water, so he opts for confetti instead.

His video has gone viral with more than 408,000 shares on Facebook and several thousand views on YouTube.
