BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn have arrested a man suspected in a vicious attack on a subway train last month.
According to the New York City Police Department, Jasner Jimenez, 24, of Brooklyn, has been arrested and charged with assault.
Just after 3:30 p.m. July 26, on a northbound L train stopped at the Lorimer Street station in Williamsburg, authorities said the suspect was arguing with a 54-year-old woman. He followed her to a different subway car, at which point he hit her head against a metal pole and threw her to the floor, police said.
The suspect then fled the train and the station. The woman suffered a bruise to the arm and swelling to the head.
