Paramedic helps save elderly woman before emergency landing at LaGuardia

ELMHURST -- A paramedic on board a Delta flight helped save a woman before the plane made an emergency landing at LaGuardia.

The Port Authority says an 82-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest on a flight from Ft. Meyers Saturday afternoon.

A fellow passenger, who is also a paramedic reportedly gave the woman CPR.

Emergency crews met the plane when it made an emergency landing at LaGuardia, and rushed her to Elmhurst Hospital.

The woman is currently in stable condition.
