LIRR service restored after earlier suspensions

NEW YORK -- The LIRR is operating on or close to schedule on the Babylon, Far Rockaway, Long Beach and West Hempstead Branches following an earlier temporary suspension of service related to signal trouble at Valley Stream.

Customers can expect residual delays of more than an hour.
