Man struck, killed by hit and run driver in Glen Cove

GLEN COVE, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island are investigating a deadly hit and run accident involving a pedestrian in Glen Cove.

Investigators say a 72-year-old man was crossing Brewster Street late Wednesday night when he was struck by a light-colored BMW.

The driver did not stop.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
