NEW YORK (WABC) -- The MTA has brought back its 'nostalgia train' for the holidays, allowing passengers to take a trip back in time.

The train runs on Sundays in December from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from Queens Plaza in Long Island City (underground) to Second Avenue in Lower Manhattan. It runs on the "M" line.

Check out photos above from our trip in the train, which has train cars dating back to the 1930s and up to the 1970s.

The 'nostalgia train' makes five runs during that time period. Here's the schedule:

LEAVES SECOND AVENUE

10:05 a.m., 11:33 a.m., 1:03 p.m., 2:33 p.m., 4:03 p.m.

ARRIVES QUEENS PLAZA

10:24 a.m., 11:52 a.m., 1:22 p.m., 2:52 p.m., 4:22 p.m.

LEAVES QUEENS PLAZA

10:44 a.m., 12:14 p.m., 1:44 p.m., 3:14 p.m., 4:44 p.m.

ARRIVES SECOND AVENUE

11:03 a.m., 12:33 p.m., 2:03 p.m., 3:33 p.m., 5:03 p.m.
