NEWARK (WABC) -- Fire crews responded to a plane at Newark Airport after an engine started sparking on Sunday night.

Port Authority officials tell Eyewitness News that a United flight was preparing to take off for Savannah, when the pilot noticed the sparks coming from one of the engines.

The plane was towed back to the terminal. Buses came and picked up the 41 passengers.
