JAMAICA, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police discovered heroin hidden in a seat cushion after one passenger arrived at Kennedy airport.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, on March 26, Esteban Antonio Ortiz Ramos arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport from Guatemala via San Salvador.

When officers searched Ortiz Ramos' bag, they found a seat cushion. Officers found that the cushion had a brown powdery substance that tested positive for heroin.
