Man fatally shot in Jersey City across from Arlington Park

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey (WABC) -- A man was fatally shot in Jersey City overnight Wednesday, and police are searching for the person or persons responsible.

The victim, 32-year-old Tyheem Williams, was shot on Grand Street and Clinton Avenue just after 12:15 a.m.

He was struck in the upper part of his body and pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting happened across from Arlington Park.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
